      Kofax Hardware Dongle Return Instructions

      If your hardware dongle is being replaced by a Kofax software license, your software license will have an expiration date for the System License. You must do the following steps before the expiration date:

      • Return the hardware dongle to Kofax.
      • Reactivate the Kofax Capture license - you should attempt this a few business days after the tracked package has arrived at Kofax.

      When returning the hardware dongle please use the following steps:

      • Add a note within the package that states both the Hardware and Software license number and wrap it around the dongle.
      • Use a tracking method when returning the dongle.
