      Kofax SBL scripting to be discontinued

      Issue:


      SBL scripting for Kofax document validation will be discontinued in the next major or minor release, which is currently scheduled to be Kofax 11.1. 


      SBL scripting was deprecated in Kofax Capture 10.1, but has been maintained in the product to facilitate the transition to other scripting languages.


      Resolve:


      Convert any existing SBL scripts to VB.NET or Visual C#.  After converting the scripts, update and publish the applicable batch classes.


      For additional details - such as software requirements for the development environment IMicrosoft Visual Studio version and .NET versions) - please refer to the Kofax Capture Developer's Guide that is available in the 'Documents' folder of your installation software.


      Note:


      VB.NET scripting was introduced in Kofax Capture 8.0 in 2008.


      Visual C# scripting was introduced in Kofax Capture 10.1 in 2013.
