Activation code not licensed with installed version of Kofax Capture

Issue:


ERROR: 10.2.930,  [8080] AcLicClnt: The activation code is not licensed for use with the currently installed version of Kofax Capture


Possible Solutions:


User must have Read/Write and Modify access to:

  1. C:\ProgramData\Kofax Image Products\Local\Scripts
  2. C:\ProgramData\Kofax\AppLogging\DB
  3. the registry key "HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Kofax\Salic"

**If this issue is occurring at a remote site:

  1. To correct the issue:
  2. Set the profile to [NONE]
  3. Synchronize the remote site
  4. Check the license utility to make sure no page count or station licenses are available.
  5. Set the profile back to the correct Remote Site profile
  6. Synchronize
  7. Check the licensing to make sure the page count and station licenses are correct and there are no more errors.
    ---
  1. If the issue is still not corrected continue with the following steps:
  2. At the Remote sit Stop RSA from Running
  3. Stop Kofax Capture Services and program
  4. back up and delete "C:\ProgramData\Kofax Image Products\Local\Scripts\FormDef.scr"
  5. back up and delete all the *.LOG files from this location                "C:\ProgramData\Kofax\AppLogging\DB"
  6. back and delete keys CLSID and CodeBAse from key       "HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Kofax\SALic"
  7. Start KC Services
  8. Start RSA and do a full synchronization

Note: You might get the error again because it might be buffered but then after resynching again the error should be gone
