      Digital Signature in PDF Being Removed After Image Processing in KTA

      ISSUE


      There is a known issue in KTA 7.7 where PDFs with digital signatures are having the digital signature removed during the Image Processing activity when converting to a TIFF.

      SOLUTION


      This is a known issue that was reported as the following bug:


      1583468: Digital Signature in PDF is being removed after Image Processing


      There is no workaround for this issue with Image Processing. Instead of using Image Processing, you could use Document Conversion to convert the PDF to TIFF. The signatures remain in Document conversion.


      As a permanent resolution, this was addressed in fix pack 15 for KTA 7.7. (7.7.0.15). Installing the latest fix pack will resolve the issue.
