Eliminating Kofax VRS Out of Paper Error

Issue:


Out Of Paper Error message occurs when done scanning the batch 


Resolve:


Change settings of the VRS Exceptions


How To (note there are different instructions for the different version of VRS):


VRS 4.x version

  1. R-click on the VRS icon found in the toolbar by the clock.
  2. VRSImage4.png
  3. Choose ‘Admin Console’
  4. Click on on the ‘Errors’ tab
  5. Highlight ‘Out of Paper’
  6. In the dropdown next to ‘Out of Paper’, choose ‘Return Error’.
  7. Save
  8. Close

VRS 5.x version

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Kofax VRS
  2. Launch the Kofax VRS Administration
  3. Click on the Exceptions link
  4. Change the Out of Paper action to ‘Auto Resolve’
