      Extension type not be found in content class INI file

      Possible error when trying to export from Kofax Capture to Content Manager on  iSeries


      Export Error: Script #1(IBM Content Manager for iSeries 5.1-5.3) [3008 The content class needed to release pages with extension PDF could not be found in the content class INI file. Please make sure that the content class exists in Content Manager.

      Solution:


      To use content classes that are not already defined in the Content Manager server, add the content class to the server first, and then add the content class to the CMRel5_v7.ini file.


      On each machine where the Kofax export connector - Content Manager for iSeries - has been installed:


      Navigate to KofaxInstallation\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin\Cap\CMRel5_v7 (server install)


      or


      Navigate to KofaxInstallation\Kofax\Capture\Cap\CMRel5_v7

      Edit CMRel5_7.ini file following the directions given in the .ini file.
