Problem:
Customer upgraded to FileBound to version 8.1.4.0 and reported that batches were suddenly going into an error state with the FieldType not being unique.
FileBound Export is setup to use Patient No as the value to find the File in filebound and update the File Data and Append:
In FileBound, the Patient No is set as a key field and set as Unique:
If we tried to add another file with the same Patient No in FileBound we would get the same error as seen in the export connector.
Solution:
It was found that in this version of FileBound when you add a file or do a search through the API it will search the entire database including the recycle bin. It was found that a duplicate Patient No File was found in the recycle bin from a few years ago. After deleting that file Kofax was now able to export into FileBound.
