How to import values in Kofax Capture field type

Question:

How do I import values from a text file into a field type used in Kofax Capture?

Answer:

1. Create a text file
2. Open Kofax Capture Administration
3. Click on 'Field Type' tab
4. Edit a current field type (r-click on the field type and choose 'Properties' or create a new field type
5. Enter the location of the text file in the Dictionary space
6. Click on the 'Values' tab
7. Click on 'Import'
8. 
9. Publish the batch class that is using the field type.
10. To maintain the values you will need to add or delete the values in the text file and then  follow steps 2,3,4,6,7, and 9.

         Follow steps 2,3,4,6, enter the value in the value space and click 'add', then do step 9.
