How to omit conversion of file types in Kofax Import Connector

Issue:

Emails contain multiple types of attachments or image types that are not needed in the business process. How can I eliminate files types I do not want to convert?

Solution:

Kofax Import Connector can be configured to not convert and/or not import specific files. This is done in each destination that you have configured. The options can be found on the 'Advanced Conversion and Import" tab of the selected destination. Enter the desired file extension. If multiple file types need to be configured, place a comma between the file type's extension.

After making the change, be sure to restart the KIC Plugin service.
