      KC Plug-In service will not remain started

      Problem:


      KC Plug-In service will not remain started and the following error message is shown in the KC Plug-In console?


      Service is stopped | Last service start-up error: Cannot start service, because there was an error initializing Kofax Capture Importer Pool.


      Resolution:


      If Kofax user profile is enabled, please make sure the following is done so the KIC services continues to stay running:
      • Kofax suggest using a Windows Account that is linked in the Kofax Admin module.
      • Make sure the Windows account has ALL module and batch classes assigned to it.
      • The same account needs to be used for both the KIC MC and PlugIn services.
      • Lastly, in the KIC PlugIn configuration, bottom right hand side of the UI once its open | Kofax/General Setting. Please make sure the same account is configured there.
      • Now restart the KIC services and confirm if the services stay running.
