      KIC EWS Mailbox User Name Acceptable Formats

      EWS Protocol requires that you use the following format when configuring your user name:


      · DOMAIN\user\SharedMailbox@domain.com
      · DOMAIN\user@domain.com\SharedMailbox@domain.com
      (in this case,       DOMAIN is ignored and @domain.com is used)
      . DOMAIN\user\SharedMailbox
      (will work if       DOMAIN == domain.com, which is not always the case)
      ​


      NOTE:  This will allow your organization to have the same user with multiple mailboxes and the mailbox is listed in the user name format.
