      Kofax batches do not process immediately

      Newer Kofax Capture installations (versions 10.1 and greater) have disabled the outbound traffic from a node when a Batch is closed within the registry. The default polling is now 60 seconds.


      To override this setting and enable outbound traffic from a node when a batch is closed so that batches are processed immediately after closing (or as soon as the module is available) you will need to perform the following steps:


      On all machines running Kofax Capture starting with the server and then the workstations:

      1. Run Regedit
      2. Navigate to the following registry key:   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Kofax Image Products\AscentCapture\3.0]
      3. Set the DisableBatchNotification key to "0"  
      4. After registry changes are made, restart the Kofax Capture service.
