      Kofax Capture PDF Generator step fails when converting a large image with "Non-supported image size" error

      PDF Generator was shut down with the 'Non-supported image size' error.


      • If there is an error with input images which have dimensions more than 12000 pixels, add the following tag to ACConfig.xml to resolve the issue. The MaxImageDimensionPixels tag specifies the maximum image size for both width and height in pixels. The default value is "12000."

      It affects Kofax Capture 11.1.0.0 and is resolved in Capture 11.1.0 Fix Pack 1.   The standalone fix from https://knowledge.kofax.com/bundle/z-kb-articles-salesforce5/page/19774.html can also be installed.  

       

      Alternatively, the affected document/image can be reduced in size and reimported in order for conversion to succeed without having to upgrade or patch Kofax.
