      Kofax Capture Scaling issues due to scale and layout being increased

      Problem:


      Some customers with high-resolution screens set their display to be scaled 150-200%. Below is an example of a 2K monitor scaled to 200%:

      This causes some scaling issues like seen below in Kofax Capture modules such as Scan and Validation

      Resolve:


      1. Go to the path: C:\Program Files(x86)\Kofax\Capture\Bin
      2. Locate affected modules: Index.exe for validation and Scan.exe for Scan
      3. Right-click -> Properties -> compatibility -> Change High DPI Settings -> Select "Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program..." (Do this for each module affected)
      4. Open affected modules and test.
