      Kofax Export Connector for Content Manager 8.6

      Issue:


      Kofax Export Connector 8.0 R2 for IBM Content Manager - the only IBM Content Manager export connector that is listed in the downloads  - is not compatible with CM 8.6. 


      Resolve:


      Kofax development has provided a new script that is not available on the download site and does not use II4C for a connection. The prerequisites are listed in the attached instructions.docx file.


      Export script is located at \\openfiler\distribs\Kofax\ExportScripts\CM8.5_8.6


      Note: 


      The naming convention of the script is not the same as the old script. You will need to note the export script setup(s) as you will be required to reconfigure the export script.


      Batch classes can be imported in a new environment by creating a 'Fake' CM export.inf file or stripping the batch classes of the export script before exporting the batch classes.
