Kofax Insufficient Volume Licensing - unable to scan

Error:


The licensing configuration does not support additional scanning or importing of image files.


 Insufficient volume licensing available - users are no longer able to scan


Temporary Solution:


Request a temporary license increase at this URL:


 http://activatelegacy.kofax.com/support/activationtemp/tempcode.aspx 


You can obtain the necessary information for the form by launching the Kofax License Utility and go int to File > Activate. This will give you the Kofax Serial Number, Product Code and Machine ID


Once you have made the request - you will be given an activation code at that URL to use when you activate the license. Copy that activation code and paste to notepad.


Launch Kofax License Utility


Take a screenshot of the currently licensing


Go to File > Activate


Click on 'Manual'


Enter the activation code you have copied to Notepad


Click Activate


You should now see a volume count greater than 0 in the volume column of the licensing. Note the expiration date of that count.
