      Kofax Shared Licensing Considerations

      Considerations when running two environments with shared licensing:

      • Licensing must be on environment with the higher version of Kofax (Version 9 and higher) Version 8 is not compatible with Version 10 or higher licensing as there is no upgrade path from KC 8 to KC10 or higher.
      • Environments must be the same type (Client/Server or Standalone)
      • Standalone licensing limits you to running modules on one machine at a time - no parallel use of modules
      • Number of station licenses available
      • Amount of page count available
      • If running KTM - KTM Licensing counts
      • If running KIC – you may only have 1 license available so you will only be able to have KIC in one environment
