Kofax TotalAgility Clean-up task issues

There has been known issues with the Kofax TotalAgility "Capture Data Clean-up" system task in versions 7.7 and older.  This system task must stay running to remove orphaned blob data after documents are deleted.  If the Capture Data Clean-up task has issues or is not running, the BlobStorage table within the TotalAgility Documents database will start growing in size.

 

There is a known issue where the Capture Data Clean-up task rolls back any data changed when the Capture Data Operation Time Limit period has passed.  When this issue occurs, the SQL transaction log and BlobStorage table will get very large in size which could fill up the SQL server disk space.

 

The resolution to this issue is to install the latest fixpack for your TotalAgility version.
