      Kofax TotalAgility upgrade best practices:

      Please perform following steps before upgrading Kofax TotalAgility to a later version:

      1. Perform snapshot or backup of Kofax server(s).
      2. Perform backup of Kofax databases (if using separate SQL server).
      3. Stop all Kofax services.
      4. Disable Windows UAC.
      5. Disable Antivirus software.
      6. Grant installation account Windows administrator rights.
      7. Grant installation account full rights to Kofax databases (if using separate SQL server).
