Location of Log Files for Kofax Products

KC - Kofax Capture

• Client Server logs are located in C:\ProgramData\Kofax\CaptureSV\Logs
• If the logs are not located in this folder the path can be found in the Registry.
  • Navigate to the Registry the pathway is found in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Kofax Image Products\Ascent Capture Server
• Work Station logs are located in C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Local \Logs

KIC - Kofax Import Connector

• Default location C:\ProgramData\Kofax\KIC-ED\Logs
• If the logs are not in the default location go to the server
  • Open Kofax Administration

• • > Electronic Documents

• • > Configuration

• • > General Settings
• Message connector C:\ProgramData\Kofax\KIC-ED
• If not in the default location
  • Open MC Configuration Utility

• • > Open Monitor

• • > Configuration Tool 

• • > Advanced

• • > Trace Settings

• • > Trace location

KTM - Kofax Transformation

• Default location C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Local\Logs
• Location is default for both server and workstations, server will have more logs

KCNS - Kofax Capture Network Server

• The default location for the ACIW logs(web server) are on the IIS server located at C:\ProgramData\Kofax\KCN Server\Logs.
• ACIC logs are located in the C:\ProgramData\Kofax\CaptureSV\Logs or C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Capture\Local\Logs folder depending on the install type
