Moving KIC configurations to another server.

If you are moving Kofax Import Connector to another server and would like to keep the current configurations you can try to do the following:

Moving KIC-Plugin Configuration:

KIC-Plugin configuration is located in the following XML file: KIC-ED-KCPlugIn.xml (Back up the XML file on the new server)
Located in default location: C:\ProgramData\Kofax\KIC-ED\KCPlugIn\config

You will copy over the XML file from the old server to the new server in the config folder location of where you installed KIC.

Moving KIC-Message Connector Configurations:

You will need to copy over the following XML files: InternalConfig.xml and SolutionConfig.xml (Back up both XML files on the new server)

Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\KIC-ED\MC\config

You will copy over the XML file from the old server to the new server in the config folder location of where you installed KIC.

You will need to restart both Kofax Import Connector and Kofax Message Connector services.
