Patch Code Separation Fails at Import

Issue:


Patch code separation fails when importing a document, but not when manually scanning a document.


Resolution:

  1. On each machine importing the documents perform the following steps:
  2. Close the scan module
  3. In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:
    1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Kofax Image Products\Ascent Capture\3.0
    2. Create a new DWORD with the name: TossSeparatorSheet
    3. Set the value of TossSeparatorSheet to 1
  4. Restart the Scan module
