      Reception Error / Bad Content

      ISSUE


      Message may produce a "reception error" error in the message connector, or may show "bad content" as the error message in the message connector monitor.

      SOLUTION


      If this issue occurs, the logs may only contain the generic errors mentioned above. To find out specifically what the issue might be, you will need to hover over the "BAD-CONTENT" error in the message connector monitor to view the details. However, if you hover over the beginning of the message or the icon you will only see "Not a good document". Please hover over the middle of the area to see the specific detail.

      In this particular case, the XML file that was used to import batches into KIC had a missing Value attribute.
