      Unable to Configure Unattended Scanning

      Issue:


      Receive error: "could not start unattended mode because vrs could not be properly configured" when attempting to configure unattended scanning on a machine with Windows 10, KC10.2, VRS 5.1.2. Scanning manually does not produce the error.


      Resolution:


      R-click on scan.exe and run as an administrator or create a shortcut for scan.exe and choose 'run this program as an administrator' on the shortcut properties > compatibility tab.
